DV-2014 visa lottery application form providing facility will officially open in 2014 and will accept accepting entries for 30 days of days only. Nearly 10 million people are expected to submit their entries online from all over the world for this American visa through lottery program for the fiscal year 2014. From these submitted entries n early 100,000 applicants will be selected by the computer random selection program as winners and will be allowed to check their status from May 01st of 2013. This online DV2014 results checking facility will be kept open till 30th June 2014.
Regular postal mail, Fax, Phone or email will not be used to announce the selected winners of the DV 2014 visa lottery program. You must keep your confirmation number to check the DV2014 results online.
50,000 America visas will be offered under the DV- 2014 visa lottery program and more than that number will be selected and will be allowed to check online.
Second letters will be sent to those winners according to their case number order 4-6 weeks prior to the interview dates after receiving their documents in time, after their selection.
Applicants will be requested to pay the non refundable visa fee and the diversity processing fee of US$ 819 or equivalent in local currency personally on the day of the interview, only to the embassy or consulate and in return will be given with the official receipt. (Don't use other means like bank drafts or money transfer agencies to pay for the US visa..)
Winners who have spouse and children will have to pay for them too US$819 each and must accompany the primary applicant on the day of their interview.
The DV 2014 visa interviews will start on 1st of October 2013 and the program will be closed on midnight 30th September 2014. Also the selected winners living in the U.S.A will be asked to contact the USCIS office to change their status when their case numbers are current.
No one can benefit from the selection of the DV 2014 lottery after midnight 30th September 2014.
The next visa lottery will be DV-2015, where people can submit their application forms online in 2013.
If you were issued with a diversity visa you must use it within the given period. Normally 6 months.
If you are refused of visa, your visa fee will not be refunded by the Embassy.
In Africa region Cameroon, Morocco, Egypt, Ethiopia and Liberia winners out numbers the other countries in the region.
In Asia region Iran winners out number the other countries in this region as Bangladesh natives were made ineligible to participate in the visa lottery program.
In the Europe Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Albania, Armenia, Belarus, Bulgaria, Germany, Turkey and Italy winners out numbers the other countries in the European region.
Surprisingly Australia too gets nearly 600 DV lottery winners each year
South American countries like Argentina and Venezuela too have good number of winners each year.
